Victorinox Swiss Army Money Clip

Victorinox Swiss Army Money ClipWe also featured the Victorinox Swiss Army Money Clip in our Cool Money Clips Review.

Made in Switzerland by Victorinox, this Swiss Army Money Clip is a reinvention of the classic Swiss Army Knife. A compact and efficient unit, it measures just 3″ in length (closed). With a money clip on the back and 3 pull out tools, you’ll find this a highly useful pocket tool.

Manufactured to the highest of standards, this product is of superior quality to the competition and comes with a lifetime warranty. It represents great value for money.

These products are built to last and they perform as they should.

Tools included: knife, scissors, nail file

Overall verdict: A superb, high quality multi-functional tool, made by Victorinox, creators of the original Swiss Army Knife.

Delk 5 in 1 Stainless Steel Money Clip

Delk 5 in 1 Stainless Steel Money ClipIf your budget doesn’t quite stretch as far as the Victorinox Swiss Army Money Clip you could consider the Delk 5 in 1 Stainless Steel Money Clip. It’s a fraction of the price and comes with the same tools: knife, scissors, file and money clip. There is also a flathead screwdriver with this model, something that the Victorinox lacks. However, don’t expect the same build quality as the Victorinox.

Tools included: knife, scissors, nail file, flathead screwdriver

Overall verdict: Handy little tool. Good value for money and contains more tools than any of the other models we’ve compared. Not the same build quality as the Victorinox though.

Sanrenmu LB-763 Folding Pocket Knife

Sanrenmu LB-763 Folding Pocket KnifeWe’ve included this Sanrenmu model as another alternative to the Victorinox Swiss Army Money Clip. It is however more of a pocket knife, as you’ll see from the size and shape of the blade. Certainly useful for somebody who spends a lot of time outdoors. Again, as with the Delk product – you won’t get the same quality as the Victorinox but if you’re looking for a budget option, it’s worth some attention.

And if the knife is the most important feature for you, then something with a larger blade, like this is where you should be focusing. There’s also the added bonus of a bottle opener, so you’ll never be stuck for cracking a cold one open!

Tools included: knife, bottle opener

Overall verdict: Decent knife for the money, with a bottle opener. Money clip can be used to clip knife onto pocket too. Good budget option.

Klein Money Clip Pocket Knife

Klein Money Clip Pocket KnifeIn our opinion, the Klein Money Clip Pocket Knife is the only genuine alternative to the Victorinox Swiss Army Money Clip. It’s a high quality, nice looking and robust product that contains a money clip and two tools: a knife and nail file. The only tool it lacks is the scissors – so if you need / want a pair of scissors, look elsewhere.

If the lack of scissors is not a deal breaker for you, the Klein Money Clip Pocket Knife should be on your shortlist and under serious consideration.

Tools included: knife, nail file

Overall verdict: Genuine alternative to the Victorinox Swiss Army Money Clip – just lacks the scissors. Excellent quality and backed by lifetime warranty on material defects and workmanship.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a pocket knife / money clip combo there are options to suit different budgets. The Victorinox Swiss Army Money Clip won’t be beaten on quality and value for money though. There is, however, an alternative that can compete, if you don’t need scissors – the Klein Money Clip Pocket Knife.
